Classic Hunter exists for factory rifles. It's built to SAAMI overall length, so it feeds from an unmodified magazine and seats without a long throat — the two things that stop most people running Berger hunting bullets in a stock rifle. You give up some BC against the VLD and Elite Hunter to get that.
G7 form factor is 1.010, slightly above the standard. This one is chosen for terminal behaviour and magazine fit rather than raw efficiency — if you want the flattest option in 30 Cal, look further up the weight range.
Check your twist first. Berger specifies a 1:13" minimum for this bullet. Slower than that and you may still get groups, but you will not get the published BC — the bullet has to be fully asleep to fly to its numbers.
