Description

A bubble level earns its place on a rifle the moment you start dialing elevation for distance. Rifle cant tilts the entire adjustment axis, so a turret correction that should lift the bullet straight up instead pushes it diagonally — and the error scales with how much you dial. Shooters who cannot explain their horizontal stringing at distance are very often looking at a cant problem rather than a wind problem.

Rather than adding hardware, this replaces the top half of a ring you already have. The bubble ends up on the scope tube itself, low in your sight picture, which is the difference between a level you check and a level you own. Rail-mounted levels sit forward and out of the natural line of sight, and they compete for the same rail real estate as a rangefinder or clip-on.

The swap does not disturb the scope's position in the rings, so your zero survives the installation.

This is the 34mm, 4-screw version. Four-screw is the standard Nightforce clamping arrangement and is entirely sufficient for normal centerfire recoil — fewer fasteners to torque and fewer to keep track of in the field. The screw count is not a preference, though: it must match the ring bottom you are mating to. If your rings are 6-screw, order the 6-screw version instead.
