The NX8 4-32x50 F1 does something that shouldn't be possible: an 8x erector ratio in a 30mm tube at 13.4 inches and 28.6 oz. Four power to thirty-two power in a scope lighter than most 5-25s.
That range is the whole argument. At 4x you have enough field of view to take a close shot in timber; at 32x you can read mirage and call your own impacts. One scope covering work that normally takes two.
The trade is honest and worth knowing. Ninety MOA of elevation is less than a 34mm ATACR gives you, and the 50mm objective in a 30mm tube means less light at the top end than a 56mm scope. Neither matters much inside 1,200 yards with a 20 MOA base under it.
First focal plane, ZeroStop, DigIllum, parallax down to 11 yards. If you want one scope for a rifle that hunts and shoots matches, this is the most versatile thing Nightforce builds.
