The mechanism is what you're paying for. Instead of two metal surfaces sliding across each other under spring pressure, a free-floating roller sits between the sear and the trigger. Nothing to polish, no coating to wear through — so the break doesn't drift as the round count climbs.
There's a side effect worth knowing about. Because there's no friction to overcome, most shooters find a TriggerTech feels roughly half a pound lighter than a conventional trigger measuring the same weight on a gauge. Set it at 2.5 lb and it breaks like 2.
Adjustment is external — a set screw you reach without pulling the trigger out of the rifle. Available with or without bolt release, and the safety is removable.
If you're building a competition rifle or shooting past 800 regularly, step up to the Diamond. For a rifle you hunt with, this is enough trigger.
